Dr. Genene Duran is the Executive Director of Ducks in a Row Human Services Inc. and The Black Community Health Assessment:

She possesses subject matter expertise in the policies, systems, programs and services that affect specialized, underserved and vulnerable communities. She is a leader, strategic planner, and a builder of  collaborative, cohesive relationships as she establishes rapport, fosters relationships, cultural competence, change management,  & community outreach.

Dr. Maria Adams is the Partnership & Outreach Program Manager at Connect for Health Colorado, where she directs initiatives to create community partnerships that increase access to affordable health coverage throughout the state. 

With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, public service, and community engagement, Dr. Adams started her professional career as a faith-based community organizer in California, working with congregations and local leaders to strengthen communities. 

Over the past five years, Dr. Adams has worked to connect policy with people, helping individuals, families, and small businesses access the coverage and care they deserve.
