Apostle Dr. Sandra Powell is the founder of Soul Care Full Gospel Center, a family outreach and anointed deliverance ministry, located in Commerce City, Colorado. The Ministry is now celebrating its 29th year! She was also founder and host of “The Christian Leadership Pow Wow”--- an esteemed award-winning international conference ministry noted for networking and training Christian leaders to effectively meet the end time harvest for 30 years—passing the Baton to the next God-ordained leader in the year 2024.

Dr. Powell is a highly respected mentor who is constantly called upon throughout the country as an anointed preacher, teacher, and conference speaker, and is revered as a great prophetic voice to the body of Christ in this age. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, in Boulder, with a Bachelor of Arts in the field of Education.  She also has earned a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and she now holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree.

Prior to pastoring, she was an Educational Director and a Teacher, as well as a professional Gospel Singer and Recording Artist with several noted gospel singers and musicians. She also served as the anointed assistant pastor at Evangelistic Prayer Center in South Central Los Angeles for 10 years.

Dr. Sandra Powell is Founder, Chancellor and Instructor in the Soul Care Bible Institute and Academy of Ministry located on the Church’s Commerce City campus. She and her precious departed husband are authors of numerous Christian Training Manuals and Inspirational Devotions. Their Ministry Catechism Training Manual for Licensing and Ordination is one of their most sought-after publications.  Apostle Sandra has faithfully sent out a daily Christian Devotional Monday through Friday to an extensive mailing list since 2014. She is ardently compiling volumes for a sermonic manual of “Messages to Inspire Spiritual Excellence” from her extensive catalog of gospel preachings & teachings. She also has an expansive catalog of ministry recordings, with selections available upon request.

In addition to Church Planting, Apostle Dr. Sandra Powell, and her late husband, Chief Apostle Lawrence Powell, have faithfully provided Apostolic Covering for Churches in Colorado as well as several other cities--as well as provide covering for a number of anointed Ministry Gifts. She and her late husband were consecrated as Apostles by Old Camp Ground Ministries International of Chicago, IL in 2004. Dr. Powell is privileged to be the first female African American pastor in the Colorado region to publicly be affirmed as an Apostle.

Apostle Dr. Powell and the late Chief Apostle Lawrence E. Powell have six lovely children. They have been blessed with seventeen beautiful grandchildren, and four great grands.
